Even though it failed to be Indonesia's representative to be nominated in the International Feature Film category at the 95th Academy Awards, the film Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap was screened at the Beijing International Film Festival.
Domestically, this film managed to gather 2.8 million viewers and won the Best Film award at the 2022 Indonesian Journalist Film Festival.
