Suara.com – Nicholas Saputra is looking forward to his selfie portrait in the 2024 election. Unfortunately, after waiting for five years, fans had to swallow disappointment.
It turns out that Nicholas Saputra shared a selfie with his inked pinkie only during the 2019 election. To remedy this disappointment, a neighbor of Nicholas took a secret photo, aka a candid one.
“Oh Allah, thank God, this year I still have a soul mate to meet NicSap again. Even though when I came, he went home. What a beautiful life as neighbors,” wrote the neighbor whose account name was kept secret.
In the portrait shared, Nicholas Saputra is seen wearing an all-black outfit from t-shirt, trousers, to sandals. However, Nicholas was photographed from behind so only his back was visible.
“This is when he entered his house's fence. Then we rushed to ask for a photo of the front of his house,” concluded Nicholas Saputra's neighbor.
The appearance of Nicholas Saputra makes fans happy. Nicholas almost never shares his own portraits on social media.
On the other hand, the portrait of Nicholas Saputra's neighbor who took the photo secretly also drew criticism. This is because it is said that Nicholas really doesn't like having his photo taken secretly.
“I love Niscap but can you imagine if someone did this to you. Wouldn't it be scary and uncomfortable? He's a beloved celebrity shouldn't there be boundaries?” @tepp*** account comments in English.
“Isn't it really scary to be a public figure, even if you maintain your privacy there are still people who will motorbike when you enter the 'house fence',” replied the account @jcki***.
Apart from that, Nicholas Saputra's choice of all black outfit to go to the polling station also caused a stir. Even though he doesn't appear to be playing Twitter or X, the star of the film “What's Wrong With Love?” is suspected of monitoring.
Previously netizens 'pledged' to wear all black outfits to show that democracy was dead. Several ministers also wore all-black outfits in the 2024 elections today, Wednesday (14/2/2024).
On the other hand, Nicholas Saputra once revealed the reason he never posts selfies on Instagram. To Dave Hendrik, Nicholas admitted that he only wanted to maintain Instagram's functionality from the start.

When he got to know Instagram, Nicholas Saputra thought of it as an application for sharing photography results. However, as time goes by, this function changes.
“It just so happens that I know him like that, this is the result of a place where photography is stored. Yes, I just want to keep it that way,” explained Nicholas in June 2020.
Nicholas Saputra's consistency is still maintained today. Even after five years have passed, Nicholas apparently did not share another selfie during this election.
