Sukabumi. Suara.com – Pandarawa Group’s good intentions to invite the community to clean up piles of rubbish at Cibutun Beach, Pesisir Loji, Cibutun Village, Sukabumi, West Java, instead met with resistance from the local village government.
Not accepting that the Loji Coast is the 4th dirtiest place in Indonesia, the Cibutun Village Head will instead send a summons to the Pandawara Group.
Pandawara Group also made a video viral showing one of the members writing “Welcome to the No. 4 Dirtiest Beach in Indonesia”.
Then, environmental activists made up of young people invited the local community to clean the coastline on 6-7 October 2023.

Karang Taruna and Cibutun Village officials did not accept the invitation to clean up the coast which was full of rubbish.
They didn’t even allow the Pandarawa Group to carry out trash clean-up actions at Cibutun Beach.
The Head of Sangrawayang Village, Muhtar, said that village officials did not allow trash clean-up activities on Cibutun Beach.
The problem, said Muhtar, is that the Pandarawa Group has not coordinated with village officials.
The chairman of the Simpenan District Karang Taruna, Deris Alfauzi, does not accept Cibutun Beach as the 4th dirtiest beach in Indonesia.

Instead of inviting him to clean up the rubbish, Deris chose to sue the Pandarawa Group to reveal evidence that Cibutun Beach was the 4th most polluted.
“We really regret that there was no prior communication, because there was writing that Cibutun beach was the 4th dirtiest beach,” said Deris, reported by Radar Sukabumi on Monday (2/10/2023).
He also questioned whether this was based on existing evidence, the results of observations or research.
Deris then asked the Pandawara Group to provide clarification on the viral video within 2×24 hours.
If not, Deris is ready to send a summons to the Pandarawa Group.
“Within 2×24 hours, if there is no clarity, then we will report it, because that is creating content without confirmation and not knowing the real facts,” threatened Deris.
