The walls of Fitri Carlina’s house are decorated with various photos containing romantic moments with her husband. Many of her photos have an aviation theme because her husband’s profession is a pilot. (Photo: YouTube MAIA ALELDUL TV)
Fitri Carlina also has the same interest as her husband. He even has a room designed with an aviation theme. “So this is printing, a special order from me. I just need to install it with a special craftsman. I want it to be like Sky on the 2nd floor and a place for my hobby as well as collecting diecasts,” said Fitri. (Photo: YouTube MAIA ALELDUL TV)
Not only that, Fitri Carlina even collects various diecast or miniature airplanes. “This is hunting from everywhere, some are exchanged with fellow collectors, every time I fly I also try to go, some are from my family too. Most of what I collect are commercial planes,” said Fitri. (Photo: YouTube MAIA ALELDUL TV)
Even though he has taken a break from collecting, Fitri still takes very good care of the miniature airplanes. Many of them are special editions. “Thank God, I still look after it well and neatly, even the ones that are already years old are still well looked after. I also imported various things from England because the picture is special, it’s an Iron Maiden concert,” said Fitri. (Photo: YouTube MAIA ALELDUL TV)
One of the collections is decades old. The miniature was inherited from his father-in-law, who is a CEO in the aviation sector. “This is one of them that is decades old, the color on top there is already naturally yellow. It was a legacy from my father-in-law, a Hercules plane pilot, he was an Air Force general and CEO of Mandala too. So it was a legacy from him,” he recalled. (Photo: YouTube MAIA ALELDUL TV)
