In the history of the Islamic religion, there are many important events that occurred during the month of Ramadan. For example, the Battle of Badr, the Conquest of Makkah City, and the night of Lailatul Qadar.
The month of Ramadan does have many privileges, with multiple rewards and greater opportunities for Allah Ta'ala's forgiveness. This is a month full of blessings.
The blessings of the month of Ramadan are also felt by people in the country. In fact, several historical events in Indonesia apparently also occurred during this holy month. There anything?

Do you know? The moment of independence for the Republic of Indonesia in 1945 coincided with the month of Ramadan.
It started with the formation of the Indonesian Independence Preparatory Committee (PPKI) on August 7 1945. According to Indonesiabaik.id, this incident occurred one day before the first night of the month of Ramadan at that time.
One Ramadan (August 9, 1945), allied troops dropped bombs on the city of Nagasaki. This bombing resulted in the paralysis of Japan's power in the midst of World War II.
On the second day of Ramadan the next day, the PPKI chairman and representatives, namely Soekarno and Hatta, together with Radjiman met Marshal Terauchi in Vietnam to discuss Indonesian independence.
When Japan surrendered to the allies on the 6th of Ramadan, the youth developed cooperation and strategies to seize power in their homeland from the grip of Japanese colonialism.
2. Rengasdengklok incident

In the evening at around 22.00 on the 7th of Ramadan, young people led by Wikana came to Soekarno's residence to urge the proclamation of independence to be carried out that same night. At 03.00 WIB on 8 Ramadan (16 August 1945), Soekarno and Hatta were kidnapped to Rengasdengklok.
Only lasted a moment, the kidnapping ended when Mr. Achmad Soebardjo picked up Soekarno and Hatta to return to Newsdelivers.com. They arrived in Newsdelivers.com in the middle of the night at around 23.00 WIB.
3. Proclamation of Indonesian Independence

According to Mr. Achmad Soebardjo, at 03.00 at dawn the text of the proclamation was dictated by Bung Hatta, and written by Bung Karno. The finished text was then typed by Sayuti Melik.
The reading of the text of the proclamation was held on Friday, 17 August 1945, which coincided with 9 Ramadan 1367 H. At that time the proclaimer was fasting.
During the preparation period for independence, it is known that Bung Karno asked for recommendations from several Ulama. August 17 1945 was a recommendation given by KH Abdoel Moekti from Muhammadiyah. Meanwhile, KH Hasyim Asy'ari gave assurance to Bung Karno not to be afraid of proclaiming independence.
