Foods or drinks that contain sugar can provide quick energy intake after a day of fasting. However, don't consume it excessively. Apart from that, try to make sure that foods and drinks that contain natural sugar come from fruit.
It would be even better if you followed Rasullullah's sunnah by eating three dates and water. Alternatively, you can also use other fruits that are good for the stomach such as watermelon, melon, banana, apple and pear.
2. Drink Pure Coconut Water

Sweet tea is often a drink to break the fast. However, instead of drinking sweet tea with a lot of sugar, it is better for you to choose pure coconut water as your break-the-fast drink.
The reason is, coconut water is rich in electrolytes which are needed to replace electrolyte fluids that have been lost during fasting.
3. Avoid drinks that are too cold

Avoid breaking the fast with drinks that are too cold. The reason is, this can make your stomach become full quickly, so you can lose your appetite for consuming nutritious food.
In addition, food or drinks that are too cold can interfere with the absorption of food nutrients in the body.
4. Don't eat heavy food straight away

After fasting all day, the stomach also needs to adapt to food after breaking the fast. Therefore, don't go crazy by immediately eating heavy food. Because this can shock the stomach and can cause flatulence and even constipation.
After breaking the fast with sweet food, give your stomach time to digest the food, approximately 30 minutes. After that, just start eating heavy food.
5. Eat Slowly

After enduring thirst and hunger for more than 13 hours, you should not immediately take revenge by consuming excessive food. Therefore, eat slowly.
Eating slowly will give the body time to absorb the glucose and calories the body needs. Meanwhile, eating quickly can make you consume too much food. Apart from that, it can disrupt the stability of blood sugar levels, so you will always feel hungry and want to keep eating more and more.
