The film Exhuma managed to set a new record since it was broadcast on February 22.
On Sunday (24/3), the Korean Film Council announced that Exhuma had officially exceeded 10 million moviegoers.
The film starring Kim Go Eun, Choi Min Sik, and Lee Do Hyun also held the top spot at the box office for 31 consecutive days.
Not only is it the first film in 2024 to reach this figure, Exhuma is also the first Korean occult film to reach 10 million viewers.

Synopsis Exhuma
A rich family in Los Angeles experiences a supernatural incident that attacks their child.
The family then contacted famous exorcists, namely Hwa Rim and Bong Gil.
Bing Gil and Hwa Rim finally asked for help from Sang Deok (Choin Min Sik), who is a feng sui expert, and Yong Geun (Yoo Hae Jin), a funeral attendant.
They work together to find and dismantle the family's ancestral grave in Korea.
