Jorge Martin scored a victory at the 2024 Portuguese MotoGP. The Ducati racer successfully caught Enea Bastianini (Ducati Lenovo) and Pedro Acosta (Red Bull GASGAS Tech3) who were following behind him.
Jorge Martin immediately slid into leading position from the start of the race. The 26 year old racer immediately passed Maverick Vinales and Enea Bastianini without difficulty. Meanwhile, Marc Marquez (Gresini Ducati) and Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo) were seen 'fighting'.
The two seasoned racers were seen fighting for fourth position at the start of the race. However, it was Bagnaia who was finally able to beat Marquez. On the other hand, Franco Morbidelli (Ducati Pramac) and Alex Marquez (Gresini Ducati) ended the race early.
Both of them could not continue racing because they each had individual accidents. Meanwhile, Martinator continues its impressive performance. He was still leading until the 18th lap.
Vinales and Bastianini continue to follow Martin. However, their position has not changed. Behind him, Bagnaia and Pedro Acosta (Red Bull GASGAS Tech3) were seen fighting for fourth place. Bagnaia, who initially managed to get the fourth post, was simply overtaken by Acosta.
Two laps before the race finished, Marquez and Bagnaia were involved in an accident. However, both were allowed to return to racing. On the other hand, Martin, who was still leading, finally managed to win the 2024 Portuguese MotoGP.
