Margot Robbie successfully brings Barbie to life on the big screen. Now the actress wants to try new luck by producing the film The Sims.
The Sims film, which is adapted from the popular game, will be produced by LuckyChap, Margot Robbie's production house with Tom Ackerly, Josey McNamara and Sophia Kerr. They collaborated with Vertigo Entertainment and Electronic Arts which released the game The Sims.
The Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday (20/3) reported that Kate Herron, who previously directed the first season of Loki, would become the director of the film The Sims. He will also write the script with Briony Redman.
The Sims film is said to be coming following the success of the city-building simulation game SimCity, which is often described as a digital dollhouse.
