Pink Spider player, Lee-Joo-Ah is determined to block Megawati Hangestri's smash. He admitted that he had good technique to stop his opponent's blows.
Pink Spider will face Red Sparks in the semifinals of the 2023/2024 South Korean Volleyball League playoffs. The two teams will face each other twice, namely 22 and 24 March 2024.
Meanwhile, ahead of the match, Lee-Joo-Ah is determined to block Megawati Hangestri's smash. Because, he feels confident he has good technique to stop his opponent's blows and just needs to concentrate.
“The opponent in front of me is Cheong Kwan-jang, so I want to block (smash) Mega (Megawati Hangestri). My technique is good, so I think I need to remember those things when playing,” said Lee-Joo-Ah as quoted from Naver, Thursday (21/3/2024).
Meanwhile, Pink Spider has the advantage of being able to advance to the final round. Because, Pink Spider was able to achieve four wins and swallow two defeats when they met Megawati Hangestri and friends in the regular season.
However, Pink Spider experienced difficulties when he met Red Sparks. The reason is, Megawati Hangestri and colleagues successfully won 3-1 over the team from Incheon.
Apart from that, Pink Spider has better performance than Red Sparks. Because, Pink Spinder has won the South Korean Volleyball League title four times, namely 2005-2006, 2006-2007, 2008-2009, and 2018-2019.
Meanwhile, the Red Sparks have only won the South Korean Volleyball League title three times, namely 2005, 2009-2010 and 2011-2012. Apart from that, the Red Sparks were unable to appear in the playoffs for six seasons.
