The Indonesian Minister of Youth and Sports, Dito Ariotedjo, does not only focus on sports matters. Most recently, the Minister of Youth and Sports launched the Indonesia Future Network, which is a major program for the projection of a Golden Indonesia 2045.
The Indonesia Future Network program was initiated by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) together with the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) and the Ministry of National Development Planning of the Republic of Indonesia/National Development Planning Agency. This program is a form of multi-stakeholder collaboration involving the Pijar Foundation, the Young Citizens Association and Huawei.
It is hoped that the Indonesia Future Network will become a forum for potential leaders who are competent in their fields and stakeholders to discuss and network to answer Indonesia's future challenges in order to achieve the dream of a Golden Indonesia 2045.
There are 7 main themes that will be discussed in different sessions on the Indonesia Future Network, namely: Future Health, Future Policy, Future Skill & Education, Future Food, Future Environment & Energy, Future Industry, and Future Information & Communication Technology (ICT).
This activity was attended by the Indonesian Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko, Menpora Dito Ariotedjo, Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin. At the event, Menpora Dito touched on the strategic movement for sustainable national development towards a Golden Indonesia 2045.
“And as the Ministry of Youth and Sports, we are ready to oversee and provide ample space for all potential leaders to contribute to various national strategic sectors,” said Menpora Dito in his speech.
Menpora Dito also encouraged forums like this to continue to be held by involving more parties, especially potential Indonesian leaders. The Indonesia Future Network program is expected to be a positive step in creating networking for Indonesia's future young leaders.
