JAKARTA – A Tiktok in a video uploaded by the account @liong_68 said he was a victim of crime because he was late in renewing his number.
As a result, the number is forfeited and sold again to another user. @liong_68's biggest mistake, even though his number is no longer in use, it is still connected to several banks, credit cards, and even his e-commerce account.
Before being blocked, the card will actually first enter a grace period of 30 days.
If the customer has not topped up their credit within the 30 day grace period, the number will enter a blocking period. Telkomsel provides a blocking period of 60 days.
During the blocking period, customers cannot access the internet, make and receive telephone calls, and send and receive SMS. The blocking period is 60 days.
Customers can still unblock via *888*89#. If within this time period the customer does not unblock, the customer's PrePaid card will expire.
When the card expires, the customer's card can no longer be used. However, Telkomsel still has tolerance as an appreciation to customers by giving them the opportunity to reactivate their cards even though they have been forfeited.
