Mike Tyson could not hide his anger when he learned of media reports that he had changed his gender to become a woman. In a rather harsh tone, Concrete Neck said the news was not true.
Journalistic products are activities related to actual recording and based on collected facts. The results of these activities will later be expressed in journalistic products, which will then be conveyed to a wide audience.
But for some reason there are still news sites that want to take advantage of the excitement that is happening. Like what happened to Tyson when he reportedly changed gender.
Quoted from DailyStar, Saturday (16/3/2024), the spoof news site NewsBiscuit claimed that Tyson had undergone 16 hours of surgery and changed his name to Michelle. The report also stated that he wanted to be known as 'Iron Maiden' rather than 'Iron Mike'.
However, after being informed of reports that he had become a woman, Tyson vehemently denied the claims. He emphasized that until now he was still a man.
“I am still a man and I have always been completely in touch with my masculinity and have no intention of becoming a woman. This claim is not only untrue but also very stupid,” stressed Mike Tyson.
“I attended the Pacquiao-Marquez fight on Saturday and any reasonable person would say I looked like a man.”
The media seems to want to seek popularity from Mike Tyson. Understandably, the heavyweight boxing legend is currently reportedly preparing for a fight against Jake Paul in Dallas this year.
