Aulia Sarah was again trusted to play the character Badarawuhi, who is a snake demon in the film Badarawuhi in Penari Village. This film is a continuation of KKN in Penari Village.
Aulia Sarah said that the figure of Badarawuhi in this film would be much scarier than the KKN in Penari Village.
“In KKN, Badarawuhi's dialogue is still mixed with Indonesian. Here, Badarawuhi speaks full Javanese,” said Aulia Sarah when met in the Kuningan area, South Newsdelivers.com, Thursday (14/3).
“Can you imagine the spirits talking in full Javanese throughout the film. Just like that, it's already scary, right?” he continued.
Of course, it wasn't easy for Aulia Sarah to speak Javanese while playing Badarawuhi. Even so, Aulia Sarah wanted to provide something different in the film Badarawuhi di Des Penari.
“It's difficult, it's easy. Actually, the MD initially said, it's okay if, for example, you mix Indonesian with Javanese,” admitted Aulia Sarah.
“But I want to give something different here. I want to try full Javanese,” he continued.
Not only that, Aulia Sarah also had special preparations for playing Badarawuhi this time. To be able to merge with the figure of Badarawuhi, Aulia Sarah also asked permission to store the snake demon shawl in a wooden box.
“So this time I prepared something like a teak wood box. And I had permission from the wardrobe team there. I was holding the full Badarawuhi shawl during filming, so I put it in the box and took it everywhere,” said Aulia Sarah.
“I want to feel closer and more at one with the character of Badarawuhi. Plus I also want to feel nostalgic because I'm back playing Badarawuhi again,” he said.
Aulia Sarah felt that by removing the scarf, she could get energy from the figure of Badarawuhi.
“Because I feel like it will definitely give me energy,” he concluded.
