During the month of Ramadan, it's not just your body and nutritional intake that you have to pay attention to. Facial skin health is also no less important to highlight.
During fasting, we need to take care of the moisture of the facial skin so that unwanted problems do not arise, one of which is using the right skincare.
According to experts, it turns out that during fasting we need to increase the use of certain skincare and also reduce the use of other skincare.

One skincare product that needs to be increased in use is facial moisturizer cream. Products like this are needed because our skin will become drier during fasting due to lack of body fluids.
“The easiest thing is, the easiest thing is that you must use moisturizer during the fasting month of course more often. After ablution prayers, use moisturizer again,” said Dr. Abelina when met at the BASE Media Iftar Radiating Ageless Glow from Inside-Out event which was held in the South Newsdelivers.com area, Wednesday (13/3).
Meanwhile, skincare products that need to be avoided or reduced are exfoliating products.
According to Abelina, excessive exfoliation while fasting can make facial skin more sensitive.
“If you avoid it, you might exfoliate less frequently than before because your skin is drier, I'm afraid it will be more sensitive,” he explained.
“For example, if it was twice a week, then once a week,” he concluded.
