Suara.com – Candidate for legislative member (Caleg) of the DPR NasDem Party for the NTT II electoral district, Ratu Ngadu Bonu Wulla, submitted a letter of application for her candidacy in the 2024 Legislative Election.
In fact, Ratu Wulla managed to get 76,318 votes, much higher than former NTT Governor Viktor Bungtilu Laiskodat who only got 65,093 votes.
When confirmed, Ratu Wulla confirmed her resignation after becoming the elected legislative candidate. Even so, he was reluctant to talk more about his reasons for stepping down. He only said that there were other duties he would carry out as a NasDem Party cadre.

Previously it was reported that the General Election Commission (KPU) accepted the resignation of legislative member candidate from the NasDem Party, Ratu Ngadu Bonu Wulla. The resignation letter was given by a witness from the NasDem Party to the Indonesian KPU at an open plenary meeting to recapitulate the national level vote count for NTT Province.
“In this open forum, the NasDem party legislative candidate number 5 for the NTT II electoral district stated that he was resigning and thus we from the NasDem Party DPP submitted a letter to the Indonesian KPU with a copy to the Indonesian Bawaslu,” said the witness in the KPU Plenary B hearing room. Responding to this, KPU member August Mellaz said that his party had received and would study Ratu Ngadu's resignation letter.

According to witnesses from the NasDem Party, Ratu Ngadu's decision to resign was her own personal will. Apart from that, the resignation letter was also signed directly by Ratu Ngadu on a stamp.
