This number is expected to continue to increase considering that this film from director Denis Villeneuve has not yet hit the screens. In Indonesia itself, Dune Part: Two was only broadcast starting February 28.
Behind its popularity, Dune: Part Two apparently has a lot of interesting facts, you know, Beauties! What are they? Read more here!

In the midst of its success, Dune: Part Two managed to break a new record. On the IMDb page, the rating of the film starring Zendaya et al has reached 9.0/10. Fantastic value that successfully beat Avengers: Endgame (8.4/10) and Avatar: The Last Airbender (9.2/10).
2. Involve 500 Additional Crew People

Reporting from Variety, it was stated that the production costs for Dune: Part Two cost quite a bit, namely around 190 million dollars (equivalent to almost IDR 3 trillion). Meanwhile, marketing costs cost up to 100 million dollars (equivalent to IDR 1.5 trillion).
The large production costs of this science fiction film are due to the large number of additional crew deployed. At least, Dune: Part Two involved nearly 300 local contractor crews in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as well as 250 international crews. Not only that, the director also deployed an additional 500 people when shooting in the desert area.
3. Filming in the desert for 1 month

The large production costs were also due to the very long shooting process, namely 27 days. Moreover, this time the filming was carried out at Liwa Oasis, the largest oasis area in the UAE. As is known, an oasis is a fertile area in the middle of the desert.
In the first part of the film, the crew and cast only took 5 days to shoot in the desert in the Abu Dhabi area. It is not surprising that the production process for the second part of the Dune film really created an unforgettable experience for both the crew and the cast.
4. Made many adjustments to the novel version into the film

As is known, Dune: Part Two itself is an adaptation of the novel by Frank Herbert. As with film adaptations in general, Denis Villeneuve admits that this has made many adjustments. As a result, some of the plots of the film version are not the same as the novel version.
“When you make an adaptation you have to be cruel enough to the original material,” said Denis in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, quoted from Detik.
The adjustments made lie in the nature of the main character. Chani (Zendaya) is made more independent than in the novel. Meanwhile, there are lots of characters who are not shown to fit the duration.
5. The most difficult film Denis Villeneuve has ever worked on

In an interview, Denis also specifically admitted that Dune: Part Two was the most difficult film to make from a technical perspective. Even when compared to the first part, the second part of Dune is said to be technically 7 times more difficult.
This is because Denis admits that there are many scenes in the novel that are difficult to present on screen.
“This (Dune: Part Two) is a more ambitious film, especially technically. “So far, this is the most difficult film for me to make as a filmmaker,” he concluded.
