BEIRUT – In his latest press conference in Beirut on Tuesday (5/3/2024), high-ranking Hamas official Osama Hamdan condemned the United States (US) for being Israel's partner in the genocide in the Gaza Strip.
He praised the people of the Gaza Strip and their Resistance. Hamdan emphasized that Israel will not achieve political success like their failure in the field.
Hamdan also provided an update on negotiations for a possible ceasefire in Gaza, updated on the condition of the Resistance and reiterated that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “continues to evade his responsibilities in public.”
Ahead of the holy month of Ramadan, Hamdan called on Arab and Muslim countries, as well as the international community, to “seriously work and press by all means to build land, sea and air bridges, as well as introduce humanitarian aid and field hospitals to the entire Route region Gaza.”
The US is Israel's Partner in Genocide
“We say to Biden and the US government: The most important thing is to stop supplying the Nazi Zionist army with guns, bullets and missiles that are raining fire on our unarmed people and you stop raising your hand to use your veto in the face of the whole world to provide protection to the occupation to continue its crimes of genocide against our people,” he stressed.
He stressed, “We call on Arab and Islamic countries to take practical and serious measures to stop the genocide experienced by our people, and to work seriously in the immediate implementation of the decisions of the Arab-Islamic Summit on November 11 last year, which emphasized breaking the siege Zionists.”
“We call on the Arab peoples and our Islamic countries to continue all forms of solidarity, support and support towards the Palestinian people and our people in the Gaza Strip, and to continue carrying out public activities and demonstrations condemning these crimes, acts of occupation and aggression, and suppressing government to take an effective and strong position against such entities.”
He explained, “We renew our call to the people of our nation through whom food convoys en route to the Zionist entity pass, to act immediately to prevent their passage, because the minimum form of solidarity towards Gaza is to make the criminals aware of the dire consequences of their siege on our people.”
“We call on the international community to effectively urge the full opening of crossings, end the siege, and allow the entry of sufficient numbers of aid convoys throughout the Gaza Strip, especially into the Gaza and North Gaza areas, to ensure aid reaches the besieged people and ending their humanitarian suffering,” he explained.
