RAMALLAH – A Palestinian official said Adolf Hilter's Nazi regime massacred Jews in the past because they wanted to seize control of Germany.
Yasser Aby Sido, an official from the Fatah faction, said this in an interview with the Egyptian-based Sada Al-Balad television station February 23, 2024.
In an interview translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), he said the event known as the Holocaust was a necessary action. “Because the Jews plan to control Germany,” he said.
Sido began the interview by commenting on international condemnation of Israel's potential military operation in Rafah, and compared it to the Holocaust.
“I want to ask: Why did the Holocaust happen? “I'm not a fan of Hitler,” said Sido.
“But when Hitler carried out the Holocaust, he had clear reasons,” he said, as reported by the Jerusalem Post, Sunday (3/3/2024).
“Jews and Zionists were offered various places in the world — in Argentina, in Uganda, in the north of Sinai, in the south of Iraq — but they chose Palestine for other reasons that we will mention later,” he said.
“They are planning to take over Germany. They began to overthrow Germany in terms of economics and moral values. Hitler reacted by having Jews take to the streets and lick the sidewalks. They know this very well. “Kristallnacht (the night of broken glass) is famous in Jewish history, as is the Night of the Long Knives, when Jews were ordered to put Stars of David on their chests, and they were called 'dirty Jews,'” Sido explained.
“Let me say this loud and clear—the Jews twisted many verses in the Torah to make it more palatable to them. “I don't want to give examples because some people might consider me antisemitic, even though we Arabs are Semites, not them,” he added.
