SUM 41 visited fans in Indonesia by holding a concert at Uptown Park, Serpong on Friday (1/3).
This SUM 41 concert is part of their final series of tours entitled Tour Of The Setting Sum before they disband.
The band, which now consists of Deryck Whibley, Dave Baksh, Jason McCaslin, Tom Thacker, Frank Zummo, wasted no time and immediately hit the stage.
The first song that SUM 41 performed was The Hell Song, which is one of the hits from their 2nd album entitled Does This Look Infected?.
This Canadian band then set the stage even more ablaze by singing some of their famous songs such as Somesay, Landmines, Rise Up, We're All To Blame.
The audience then became even more excited when SUM 41 performed a song entitled Walking Disaster.
The reason is, Deryck, the vocalist, interacted by asking the audience to turn on their cellphone flashes.
Not only that, Deryck also asked the audience to enliven the concert by raising and clapping their hands, and jumping up and down to the rhythm of the song.
SUM 41's enthusiasm and energy at this concert is still the same as when they first debuted in 2000.
SUM 41 then didn't forget to sing the song Makes No Difference on their first album Half Hour of Power and then continued with With Me from the album Underclass Hero.
Frank Zummo, drummer for SUM 41, also performed a stunt changing drums while the song was in progress.
SUM 41 then performed a medley of their other hit songs such as My Direction, No Brains, and Summer.

Not stopping to surprise the audience, a giant skull then appeared from behind the stage screen.
The skull is one of SUM 41's famous icons which once became the main symbol for the band.
Apart from that, SUM 41 also sang a number of songs by other famous bands such as Another Brick in the Wall by Pink Floyd to We Will Rock You by Queen.
Deryck then appeared on stage himself while playing guitar riffs from famous bands such as Smoke On The Water from Deep Purple to Seven Nation Army from The White Stripes.
Apparently, a number of these riffs were songs that Deryck knew when he was learning to play guitar.
“That's enough (playing guitar riffs), that's all I know,” joked Deryck.
Deryck Whibley, who is Avril Lavigne's ex-lover, then returned to lead the SUM 41 crew to perform their other best songs such as Pieces, Fat Lip, and Still Waiting.
SUM 41 made the audience nervous when they used these three songs as the closing of their concert.
Of course, the audience immediately shouted at once asking Sum 41 to return to the stage and sing other songs.
SUM41 then reappeared by performing several songs such as Best Of Me, Mr Armsterdam, and In Too Deep.

Deryck then represented the SUM 41 personnel to express his gratitude and appreciation for the support from fans during their career in the world of music.
“From the bottom of our hearts, we really thank and appreciate you for accompanying and listening to us all this time. Thank you very much,” said Deryck.
The audience then regularly dispersed after Deryck said farewell at their final concert.
However, who would have thought, Deryck suddenly appeared quietly in the middle of the dark stage and sang their real farewell song, So Long Goodbye.
SUM 41 indeed held the Tour Of The Setting Sum concert as a sign of their farewell to fans.
Previously, SUM 41 had announced their disbandment in May 2023 and held a series of tours and released their final album.

SUM 41 should be considered as one of the world's best punk rock bands who have released many hit songs.
The name SUM 41 was created because the band was formed exactly 41 days before summer.
SUM41 then released their first album Half Hour of Power in 2000 under the Island Record label.
However, the name SUM 41 only started to explode in listeners' ears when they contributed the song What We're All About which became the soundtrack for the film Spider-Man (2002).
Now, SUM 41 says goodbye through their final concert offering to all fans in the world, including Indonesia.
“Goodbye, thank you for everything, thank you,” concluded Deryck Whibley.
