Deswita Maharani was annoyed by someone using her name to use fraud. He experienced this after starting an online business.
Deswita said that even though she had only just started a consignment service business, aka jastip, within two days. It turns out, there are many fraudsters who are stalking Deswita's business and trying to make profits using improper means.
The fraud was revealed after Deswita received a report from one of her customers. He admitted that he received a direct message (DM) from the fraudster after watching the live broadcast of the Deswita shop.

The customer received a DM from an account that had a username very similar to Deswita. The 43 year old actress also clarified that the account was not hers.
“This is a fraudulent account, @deswitamaharanni80, NOT MY ACCOUNT. My account @deswitamaharani80 HAS A BLUE CONTRACT! DO NOT DM, COMMUNICATE, OR TRANSACTION TO THIS ACCOUNT,” wrote Deswita in her social media upload.
When talking with Feni Rose on TRANS TV's Rumpi program, Deswita explained that her original account already had a blue tick.
“Deswita Maharani, I don't have a double 'N' and already have a blue tick. She (the fraudster) wrote on her profile 'Deswita Maharani's help account' so it looks as if I'm busy and have lots of jastips even though I've only been running for two days,” said Deswita , quoted from the TRANS TV Official YouTube channel.
Deswita then told the chronology of the fraud in her name. Apparently, the fraudster was trying to offer merchandise using an account that looked like Deswita.
“Well, he DMed one of our customers. I've only been live twice, but he (the fraudster) DMed the customer. Luckily, every time I go live, I say the price, so he gives a price of IDR 300 thousand. The customer was surprised, 'You know? , doesn't it cost IDR 130 thousand?' “He said, 'Oh yeah, I forgot', this customer happened to be a friend of mine,” he said.
The customer, who turned out to be a close friend of Deswita, realized something strange about the way the fraudster communicated.
“He was confused, people usually call him teteh. After I traced it, this person was really diligent in following Jastiper, he made an account that was similar but only had different letters and numbers. Indeed, he really had the intention and I was only on my second day (of selling),” he said.
Deswita admitted that he had just started an online business as a jastiper. He tries to offer goods purchased from abroad for sale to his customers. Continue reading on the page after this.
