Unpleasant news has come to the Gresini Ducati team ahead of the 2024 MotoGP. Marc Marquez reportedly experienced a problem with his right arm while undergoing pre-season testing some time ago.
Initially, it was widely reported that Marquez had problems adapting to Ducati in the 2024 Qatar pre-season test. So, the racer from Cervera was predicted to face difficulties in participating in MotoGP 2024.
However, according to the French magazine with the official MotoGP license, GP Mag, Marquez was reportedly experiencing problems with his right arm. This cannot be separated from the fact that The Baby Alien has suffered serious injuries and has undergone four operations since 2020.
“Reliable sources have confirmed to GP Mag that Marc Márquez's main problem is not his lack of adaptation at Ducati, but rather the condition of his right arm, which has been operated on four times since 2020,” wrote the GP Mag report, quoted from Motosan.
Previously, Marquez had stated on 'The Race' about his humerus injury after having been operated on four times. The racer from Spain said that his arm is no longer the same as before the operation.
“Three years ago I suffered a serious arm injury. Now it functions well, but the arm has undergone four operations,” said Marc Marquez.
“If you ask a doctor for an opinion, they will say it is functioning as it should, but what is clear is that his arm is no longer the same as before the accident,” admitted the man from Cervera.
It should be noted, this is just information from a French magazine and at this time there has been no official confirmation that Marc Márquez is having problems with his arm again. The media is waiting for confirmation and is currently still a hypothesis.
