The month of Shaban is the eighth month in the Hijri calendar, this month is considered one of the most noble months because there are many special features that only exist in that month.
The Prophet SAW said, “The month of Shaban is the month in which people begin to be careless, that is between Rajab and Ramadan. The month is the month of raising various practices to Allah, the Lord of the universe. Therefore, I really like to fast when my deeds are increased.” (HR. An-Nasa'i and Ahmad)
Quoting from the detikcom page, Syaban comes from the word syib, namely 'road of a mountain' or 'path of goodness'. It is called Syaban because this month radiates a lot of goodness (yatasya'bu minhu khairun katsir). For this reason, Muslims are advised to increase their worship in order to obtain goodness in this blessed month.

4 Privileges Only Available in the Month of Syaban
Here are some special features that you can find out about during the month of Shaban:
1. The Month of the Rise of Human Practices
All the deeds that humans do while in the world will be lifted up and conveyed directly to Allah SWT in this blessed month. This is also stated in the hadith of Abu Dawud and Nasa'i which reads,
“The month of Shaban is a month that people usually forget, because it is located between the month of Rajab and the month of Ramadan. The month of Shaban is the month of lifting up deeds. Therefore, I want at the time when my charity is lifted, I am in a state of fasting.”
Therefore, before the deeds of worship are appointed, all Muslims are encouraged to maximize this opportunity by taking advantage of the privileges that can be obtained this month.
2. A night full of forgiveness
Quoting from the book Ngaji Kuping by Casudi, it was narrated by Abu Hurairah's friend that the Angel Gabriel met the Prophet and said that on the night of Nisfu Shaban, the doors of heaven and 300 doors of grace were opened for him that night.
Therefore, Mother is advised to raise her hands and ask for forgiveness and pray to Allah SWT for all the sins that have been committed during her life. This is also stated in the hadith narrated from Aisyah RA, she said:
“I lost the Prophet SAW, suddenly he was in Baqi' while raising his head to the sky'. He said, 'Are you afraid that you will be oppressed by Allah and His Messenger?' I replied, 'O Messenger of Allah, I thought you were visiting some of your wives.' He said, “Indeed, Allah, the Most Holy and Most High, descended on the night of Nisfu Shaban to the sky of the world, so Allah SWT forgave him more than the wool of the sheep of Banu Kalb.”
3. Month of Al-Quran Readers
The month of Shaban is also called the month for readers of the Koran. This is what makes many clerics encourage the Musim faithful to diligently read the Koran during the eighth month of the Hijri year.
In general, there are many advantages that you can get by reading the Koran, one of which is getting perfect rewards from Allah SWT. This is also stated in the word of Allah SWT in Surah Fatir verses 29 and 30.
“Indeed, those who always read the book of God (the Qur'an) and establish prayer and spend part of the sustenance that we grant them secretly and openly, they hope for a business that will not lose, so that God will complete their reward them and add to them from His bounty. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Most Gracious.”
4. A Month Full of Rewards
The Prophet often fasted when the month of Shaban arrived. This was also conveyed by Aisyah RA, “The month that the Messenger of God liked the most to fast in was Shaban, then he continued it with the fasting of Ramadan.” (HR. Ahmad, Abu Dawud, and An-Nasa'i)
Meanwhile, Ibnu Rajab also said, “Fasting in the month of Shaban is more important than fasting in the forbidden months, and the best sunnah practice is that which is done near the holy month of Ramadan, both before and after it. Therefore, fasting in this month is like the sunnah of rawatib or after the fardu and serves to complement if there is a deficiency in the fardu practice. Similarly, fasting before and after Ramadan has more priority than other fasts that are absolute or general. Therefore, fasting that is done when it is approaching Ramadan is more important than fasting that is done far from this holy month.”
So, those are some of the privileges that only exist in the month of Shaban. Hopefully it's useful, yes, Mother.
