Suara.com – Member of Commission III DPR RI from the Democratic faction, Benny K Harman, said that he also provided a response regarding the corruption case in the procurement of equipment in the DPR RI housing complex. He supports the KPK to investigate the case without discrimination.
“I don't know (the case), the point is whoever is involved is processed, go ahead, just don't be selective,” said Benny in Newsdelivers.com, quoted Tuesday (27/2/2024).
He reminded that in investigating this case there should be no political motives behind it.
“Don't have political motives, take revenge and don't use it as a tool,” he said.

The Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) previously stated that the number of suspects in the corruption case in the procurement of equipment in the DPR RI housing complex was more than two people. This case itself is suspected of dragging the name of the Secretary General of the DPR RI, Indra Iskandar.
“There are more than two suspects,” said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri in his statement, Monday (26/2/2024).
Ali also revealed the method in this case, related to the procurement of goods such as bedding and living room equipment, which was thought to be just a formality.

“Among other things, it is alleged that the implementation was carried out with formalities. Even though it violated several PBJ provisions (Procurement of Goods and Services),” said Ali.
As is known, the Corruption Eradication Committee announced that this case had been upgraded from investigation to investigation. This decision was taken after the Corruption Eradication Committee conducted a case. The alleged corruption is thought to be related to the procurement of goods at the DPR's official residence.
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) uses the state loss article in the case. It is estimated to result in state losses reaching billions of rupiah.
Even though they have named more than two suspects, the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) has not yet announced their identities, including the status of the Secretary General of the DPR RI, Indra Iskandar, who was previously questioned when this case was still being investigated.
