Suara.com – RMA Indonesia promises to introduce the Ford Territory to Indonesia in the near future. This family SUV will complete the lineup of Ford cars in Indonesia, after the Ford Everest and Ranger.
Director of Sales and Marketing at RMA Indonesia, Steven Beteng, said that the smaller SUV is suitable for the Indonesian market.
“Next, we will immediately bring the Ford Territory to the Indonesian market,” said the Director of Sales and Marketing, RMA Indonesia, in Newsdelivers.com, Monday (26/2/2024).
Unfortunately he did not reveal the exact launch date for the vehicle which has long been present in the Philippines – the only country in Southeast Asia that sells the vehicle.
“Just wait for the time later,” he added.
Country Manager and Director of RMA Ford Indonesia, Jari Kohonen also confirmed plans for the Territory's arrival to the archipelago. He said the smaller size would be accepted by the market.
“We have plans to market an SUV that is smaller than the Ford Everest (Territory),” said Kohonen as quoted by Antara.
Currently, the Ford Territory is available in two variants, namely Titanium and Titanium X. Both are driven by a 1.5L EcoBoost engine. This engine can produce 160 ps of power with a maximum torque of 248 Nm.
RMA Indonesia, the distributor of Ford cars in Indonesia, currently only sells the Ranger and Everest. The Ford Territory will be the third model to compete in the Indonesian SUV market.
Previously, RMA also had 30 official dealers in Indonesia. Today, RMA and PT Trijaya Utama Motor inaugurated the 30th Ford dealer in Tomang, Newsdelivers.com.
The Ford Tomang dealer, which provides Sales, Service and Spare Parts facilities, is said to be proof of the commitment of this brand from the United States in Indonesia.
