H-5 before the implementation of the F1 Powerboat Lake Toba, logistics continue to arrive. A total of 15 containers weighing approximately 120 tons for the F1 Powerboat arrived at Sisingamangaraja XII Field in Balige.
The logistics previously landed at Belawan Harbor, North Sumatra, and then departed for Balige, which is the location for the Lake Toba F1 Powerboat international motorboat racing championship on March 2-3 2024.
Logistics coming from various countries departed for Balige, Saturday (24/2/2024) early in the morning, and arrived at the location of the racing event on Sunday (25/2/2024). Sumatra Regional Police officers escorted the departure of the 15 logistics containers until they arrived at Sisingamangaraja XII Balige Field. “InJourney would like to thank the stakeholders who helped with the clearance process up to the departure of the F1Powerboat logistics to the race location,” said Maya Watono, Director of Marketing and Tourism Programs at PT Aviasi Wisata Indonesia (Persero) or InJourney in a press statement, Monday (26/ 2/2024).
“Stakeholder support plays a very important role in the smooth and successful implementation of the Lake Toba F1Powerboat on March 2-3,” he continued.
InJourney collaborates with stakeholders ranging from the customs office, Pelindo, Port Authority, Transportation Department, and also the local police, to ensure that the logistics that will be used for the international water sports event can arrive safely. Maya hopes that the F1 Powerboat event can run smoothly.
“Through collaboration and good coordination between InJourney and stakeholders, all preparations leading up to the implementation of F1Powerboat have gone well so far. We hope that F1 Powerboat Lake Toba will run smoothly and achieve success again,” added Maya Watono.
Apart from logistics, F1Powerboat racers and crew have also started arriving in Indonesia. The racers arrived by transit through two international airports, namely Soekarno Hatta International Airport in Jakarta and Kualanamu International Airport in Deli Serdang.
The racers and crew who transited through Soekarno Hatta International Airport then continued their journey to North Sumatra via Raja Sisingamangaraja XII Airport in North Tapanuli. Gradually, racers and crew will continue to arrive until March 1, 2024.
