This film was produced by production houses from three different countries, namely Malaysia for Look At Me, Indonesia for Touch Me, and South Korea for Kiss Me. The film Look At Me itself was directed by Ho Yuhang, while Touch M was directed by Djenar Maesa Ayu, and Kiss Me was directed by Kim Taisik.
These three films tell stories about the situations faced by humanity during the pandemic. Even though everyone has to face difficult situations, love will always live and be in their hearts.
“The film Look at Me from Malaysia is about the beginning of the pandemic. Meanwhile, the Indonesian film, Touch Me, is set during the time when the pandemic was at its peak. Meanwhile, the film Kiss Me from South Korea shows how humans managed to overcome the pandemic,” said Vera Lasut, producer of Look At Me, Touch Me, Kiss Me, when met in the Central Newsdelivers.com area, Friday (16/2).
Even though they have different cultural backgrounds, this film shows that everyone has the same desire, namely love.
“From these three countries, the common thread is that everyone in the world, from any part of the country, has the same dream, namely the dream of finding love and being loved,” explained Vera Lasut.
Vera Lasut revealed that this film was produced when the COVID-19 pandemic was sweeping the entire world. Through this film, Vera Lasut said that cooperation between the three countries can be carried out even though the difficult situation is befalling humanity.
“This film also proves that even in a pandemic situation, collaboration between 3 countries can still run well with the help of technology and the digital era and can be a good opportunity for Indonesia to penetrate the international market, and we must always be optimistic in all situations to continue working for national cinema,” ” he concluded.
