Suara.com – The communication forum between Ganjar-Mahfud volunteers, students and civil society for DEMOCRACY, issued the Brawijaya Petition to reject the results of the 2024 presidential election in Newsdelivers.com.
The petition contains 5 demands, which are addressed to the Central Government, the General Election Commission (KPU), and the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) as organizers of the 2024 General Election (Pemilu).

Ganjar-Mahfud Volunteer Representative, Haposan Situmorang stated that the first demand was to reject the results of the Presidential and Vice Presidential elections which were held on February 14 2024.
“This is related to strong allegations of fraud in the implementation of the 2024 General Election, which was carried out in a structured, systematic and massive manner that benefited certain candidate pairs, so that they have seriously betrayed democracy and the constitution, which could threaten and endanger the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). ),” said Haposan, in his written statement, Sunday (18/2/2024).
Second, ask for the replacement of the current KPU and Bawaslu commissioners, and to form a new KPU and Bawaslu to carry out honest and fair (jurdil) re-elections, especially the 2024-2029 presidential election.
Third, strongly protest the declaration of victory for candidate pair number 2, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, which was carried out in celebration based on the results of the quick count.
In fact, said Haposan, the KPU has not yet determined the winner of the 2024 presidential election based on the majority of votes obtained.
“This has clearly led to wider public opinion which can cause divisions in society,” said Haposan.

Fourth, ask Bawaslu to legally process Prabowo-Gibran's declaration of victory.
Fifth, ask the authorities to disqualify Prabowo-Gibran in the 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential Election (Pilpres).
“This demand is based on the implementation of the stages of the Presidential and Vice Presidential nomination process, up to the implementation of the calculation of votes obtained by each participant for the Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidates as well as the Quick Count which is based on Sirekap data, where there was inflated votes for certain candidate pairs,” said Haposan.
Legal Engineering

Haposan continued, the process of appointing Gibran as vice presidential candidate through legal (constitutional) engineering as per Constitutional Court (MK) Decision Number 90 of 2023 was an attempt to betray the constitution and was a very embarrassing act.
“This action clearly and visibly constitutes a strong suspicion of violations and/or fraud in the implementation of the 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential Elections,” explained Haposan.
The registration of Gibran Rakabuming Raka as a candidate for Prabowo's running mate, which was accepted directly by the KPU without revising and/or changing the PKPU which requires an age of 40 years, is a violation committed by the KPU.
“This is proven by the DKPP's decision in its decision, the KPU Commissioner was declared guilty,” said Haposan.
The Ganjar-Mahfud volunteers, said Haposan, considered that the law had been used as a political instrument, to hold political figures hostage to support certain candidate pairs, and was an act to undermine the legal system.
Apart from that, the president's action by directing government officials to support certain candidate pairs is a desecration of democracy in Indonesia.
Meanwhile, in various areas, people are being provided with social assistance (Bansos) without involving the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) to distribute social assistance worth IDR 492 trillion, before the 2024 elections are held.
“That is how the Brawijaya Petition is submitted, God is pleased with our joint efforts to develop Indonesia according to the ideals stated in the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution,” stressed Haposan.
