Suara.com – Veteran coach from Portugal, Jose Mourinho finally opened up on rumors of returning to coach Manchester United when talking with Red Devils legend, Rio Ferdinand on the VIBE with FIVE podcast on YouTube.
Jose Mourinho has recently been in the spotlight again. After being fired by AS Roma last month, news emerged that Mourinho was desperate for a comeback to train at Manchester United, to complete his 'unfinished mission'.
Mourinho was fired at the end of 2018 after winning three trophies since coming to Old Trafford in 2016, but the 61-year-old coach failed to win the Premier League trophy with the Red Devils.

On the other hand, the current Manchester United coach, Erik ten Hag, is starting to come under pressure after the Red Devils' inconsistency throughout this season.
However, Mourinho immediately denied the news of returning to Manchester United when he was provoked by Ferdinand.
“No, the news circulating is not true. It never came out of my mouth. No, no, no,” answered Mourinho, Friday (16/2/2024).

Mourinho actually behaved chivalrously and prayed that Manchester United would soon return to being a respected force under the current coach, Ten Hag.

“I enjoyed my time at Manchester United. I love Manchester United fans. I pray for them to soon return to Manchester United, which was once very respected, a great force,” continued the coach nicknamed The Special One.
“I really hope the best for them,” he concluded.
