Suara.com – The victory of candidate pair number 02 Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka in the quick count results was greeted cheerfully by supporting volunteers.
One of them, a volunteer who is a member of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), is named Gajah Gibran.
The General Chairperson of Gajah Gibran, Toto Abraham, also congratulated the Prabowo-Gibran couple on the temporary victory obtained based on the latest quick count results. From the results of a quick count, candidate pair number 02 is far ahead of its competitors.
“In the latest quick count, the Prabowo-Gibran pair is far ahead of their competitors,” said Toto in a written statement, Thursday (15/2/2024).
Toto said he was grateful that the 2024 elections were running smoothly and in an orderly manner.
“All the alumni of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) who are members of the Gajah Gibran volunteers today are truly happy and give thanks because the 2024 elections will run smoothly and in an orderly manner,” he said.
Toto said, with the winning results from this quick count, the volunteers were even more enthusiastic about the future of Indonesia.
“After several months of hard work, we hope that the spirit of unity and oneness will return to every level of society after the election,” he said.
Previously, Gibran Rakabuming Raka responded casually to the results of the temporary quick count for the presidential election by a number of survey institutions.
Gibran made this statement in response to journalists' questions from the sunroof of the Alphard car with presidential candidate number 2 Prabowo Subianto at Istora Senayan, Central Newsdelivers.com, Wednesday (14/2/2024) evening.
“Yes, pray that everything goes smoothly, until everything is finished later,” said Gibran.
When asked by journalists whether he had communicated with his father, President Joko Widodo, Gibran admitted that he had not had time to contact him.
“Not yet,” was the short answer.
It is known that Candidate Pair (Paslon) number 2, Prabowo Gibran, is ahead through a quick count process in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres). It is recorded from various sources that Prabowo-Gibran is ahead by more than 50 percent.
The second position based on the quick count results is occupied by candidate pair number 1, Anies-Muhaimin. Meanwhile, Ganjar-Mahfud is in third position based on the quick count results.
However, this percentage could change. Bearing in mind that the results of the quick count cannot be used as a definite reference for the victory of the presidential and vice presidential candidates.
