Suara.com – Chairman of the National Winning Team (TPN) Ganjar-Mahfud, Arsjad Rasjid asked volunteers and supporters to continue to monitor the vote counting results for the 2024 Election.
According to him, the vote counting process is still ongoing and must be monitored so that there is no room for fraud until the manual vote counting process is carried out, in March 2024.
Arsjad especially appreciated the hard work of Ganjar-Mahfud volunteers and supporters, who continued to monitor the vote counting process at polling stations (TPS) and sent videos of vote counting results from polling stations throughout Indonesia from Sabang to Merauke.
“It is very important to collect when there are anomalies and fraud that occur. And, we are grateful because a report has been submitted to us at TPN,” said Arsjad at the Ganjar-Mahfud Winning Command Post, Central Newsdelivers.com, Wednesday (14/2/ 2024).
“So, we are grateful for the brave monitoring of friends who support Ganjar-Mahfud, from Sabang to Merauke. Some have made videos and various kinds of creativity to report the results from their respective polling stations,” he said.
According to him, the progress report from each polling station is an extraordinary effort made by Ganjar-Mahfud volunteers and supporters to oversee the vote counting process for the 2024 election.
“So, don't stop, keep monitoring it, keep guarding it, if you have any information, immediately convey it to us at TPN,” he said.
Apart from that, he also encouraged the volunteers and supporters of Ganjar-Mahfud not to be influenced by the results of the quick count, which was broadcast on television stations, which showed that the number of votes for Ganjar-Mahfud was at the bottom compared to candidate pairs 1 and 2.
Arsjad said that currently the vote counting process is ongoing and does not yet cover most areas, especially in Western Indonesia where the number of polling stations and voters is very large.
He asked for prayer support from volunteers and supporters of Ganjar-Mahfud so that they do not lose hope in the ongoing democratic process.
“Now the tabulation is continuing. Our team is also continuing to work, because the results of the manual count will be out in March, so as I said earlier, be patient, don't be sad yet, the process is still ongoing,” he said.
On that occasion, Arsjad also expressed his gratitude to fellow journalists who continued to follow and cover candidate pair number 3, Ganjar-Mahfud, even when campaigning in 450 locations in Indonesia.
“We would like to thank media friends because in the process to date, hundreds of friends have continued to participate in Mas Ganjar and Pak Mahfud's campaign everywhere, and it continues to this day,” he said.
He added that the support of media colleagues is really needed, especially in reporting on developments in the vote count, including the potential for fraud that may occur.
“We ask our media friends to continue to monitor, continue to report, and continue to report what is happening from Sabang to Merauke. If any news from all regions is submitted, including from our team, please report it fairly,” he said.
