LONDON – A group of archaeologists discovered the ruins of a giant structure submerged in the Baltic Sea. This structure is estimated to be around 10,000 years old, making it much older than the Giza Pyramids in Egypt.
This discovery has shocked the world and raised many questions about the ancient civilization that may have built it.
As reported by Science Alert, Tuesday (13/2/2024), this structure was first discovered by a team of researchers from Sweden who used sonar to map the seabed.
Sonar showed the presence of a complex and large structure, with an unusual shape. The research team then dived to investigate further and found that the structure was made of stone and wood.
This structure is estimated to have a diameter of about 60 meters and a height of about 4 meters. The shape resembles a circle with several gates around it.
Inside the structure, researchers discovered several rooms and passageways. They also found several artifacts, such as statues and tools, indicating that these structures may have been inhabited.
The age of this structure is estimated to be around 10,000 years based on radiocarbon analysis of the artifacts found inside.
This discovery is very important because it shows that more advanced civilizations may have existed in the Baltic Sea region much earlier than previously thought.
Researchers still don't know much about this structure and there are still many unanswered questions. Where does it come from? Who built it? What does it do? The researchers hope to conduct further research to answer these questions and learn more about the ancient civilization that may have built them.
The discovery of this structure is a very important discovery and can change our understanding of the history of human civilization. This shows that there is still a lot we don't know about the past and there are still many discoveries waiting to be discovered.
