JAKARTA – Persija Jakarta young tiger, Arlyansyah Abdulmanan has three targets after attending a series of training camps (TC) with the U-20 Indonesian National Team. One of the targets is to penetrate the main squad of the Kemayoran Tigers – Persija Jakarta's nickname.
Arlyansyah Abdulmanan is one of the right wing strikers in the U-20 Indonesian National Team. The 18 year old player has participated in two stages of the U-20 Indonesian National Team TC in Qatar and Jakarta.
He contributed one goal when the Indonesian U-20 National Team was defeated by Uzbekistan U-20 (2-3), last Tuesday (30/1/2024). When TC Garuda Muda was on hiatus, Arlyansyah returned to Persija Jakarta U-20.
The player who was born on December 20 2005 brought home valuable lessons to his club. Arlyansyah said that the U-20 Indonesian National Team TC made him develop better physically and mentally.
“Regarding discipline during training and how to provide extra abilities on the field has become something I have to do,” said Arlyansyah, quoted from the official Persija Jakarta website, Sunday (11/2/2024).
“Apart from that, the motivation to always be better must continue to emerge within me now,” he continued.
Arlyansyah also has high targets after receiving lessons at the U-20 Indonesian National Team. There are three main targets for Arlyansyah, one of which is to penetrate Persija Jakarta's core squad.
“My closest target is to win the Elite Pro Academy (EPA) competition, then I want to be trusted to continue strengthening the national team, and my final target is of course to get to the Persija main team, amen,” said Arlyansyah.
Meanwhile, the coach of the Indonesian U-20 National Team, Indra Sjafri, has sent his players back to their respective clubs. Later, the selected players will return to take part in TC to prepare for the 2024 AFF U-19 Cup and 2025 U-20 Asian Cup Qualification, which is a requirement to qualify for the 2025 U-20 World Cup.
