Suara.com – Member of the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (AMIN) National Team Advisory Council, Fachrul Razi responded to the results of the latest presidential and vice presidential electability survey.
Several survey institutions always place the AMIN pair under Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka. Fachrul even stated that the results of surveys conducted by a number of institutions were fake.
Because, based on his experience of participating in Anies' campaign, people were busy and seemed enthusiastic.
“Those are the results of a survey. Sorry, everyone knows, fake surveys are definitely like that. If the real survey is not like that,” said Fachrul when met by journalists at AMIN Headquarters, Central Newsdelivers.com, Friday (9/2/2024) .
Fachrul was reluctant to comment much regarding the results of AMIN's electability survey. He insisted that public support for AMIN was the opposite of what happened during the 2024 presidential election campaign.
“Yes, basically, we already know and don't need to trust the survey results too much. Because what we see in the field is very different from what is mentioned in the survey,” said Fachrul.

Meanwhile, the Indonesian Political Indicator Survey revealed the results of an opinion poll that could indicate the potential for a one-round presidential election.
Founder and Principal Researcher of Indonesian Political Indicators, Burhanuddin Muhtadi, explained that based on a survey with simulated ballot papers, a one-round presidential election could happen.
“If we use a ballot simulation, it is Pak Prabowo-Gibran with 51.8 percent, while in second place it is Anies-Muhaimin with 24.1 percent, in third place, although the difference is not statistically significant with Mas Anies, it is Ganjar-Mahfud MD ,” said Burhanuddin at the Indicator Office, Central Newsdelivers.com, Friday (9/2/2024).
For your information, this survey was conducted face-to-face to 1,200 people from January 28 to February 4 2024.
He explained that the survey results still had a margin of error so that a two-round presidential election could still occur.
