Suara.com – General Chair of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Kaesang Pangarep invited President Joko Widodo to dinner with a menu of fried noodles while chatting casually at Sun Plaza, Medan City, North Sumatra, Wednesday (7/2/2024). However, Bobby Nasution, President Joko Widodo's son-in-law, was nowhere to be seen.
“Yes, just when we met. There was a campaign in Deli Serdang, then that evening I was invited to eat noodles, so I ate noodles,” said Jokowi on the sidelines of his meeting with Kaesang Pangarep in Medan City.
Jokowi was seen wearing a gray long-sleeved t-shirt sitting next to Kaesang who was wearing a PSI patterned bomber jacket, and was accompanied by a number of PSI administrators.
On that occasion, Jokowi responded to journalists' questions regarding the direction of his support for PSI ahead of the 2024 election voting on February 14 2024, after the public met each other for the third time.
“I have already said that I have always been happy with PSI,” he said.
When asked again about his assessment of his youngest son's performance during the almost five months he led PSI, Jokowi answered that this would be seen from the results of the vote support for PSI on February 14 2024.
“Yes, everything will be seen on February 14,” he said.
To date, Jokowi is known to the public to have met each other three times, namely over the weekend in Yogyakarta, Saturday (27/1), in Bandung, West Java on Saturday (3/2), and tonight in Medan, North Sumatra. (Between)
