WhatsApp Provides the Most Supportive Features for Cheating. PHOTO/ CNET
MENLO PARK – Please remember that cheating is a dishonorable act and can damage a relationship. The Disappearing Messages feature is WhatsApp's newest feature which can hide messages or conversations.
As reported by Cnet, many people suspect that this feature can be used for cheating so that their partner doesn't find out.
Through this feature, users can delete sent messages in the sent messages space automatically so that it can make things easier for people who are having an affair.
This new feature can be activated by default. That way, all chats sent will disappear according to the selected duration.
WhatsApp has also increased the duration for disappearing messages by two. Currently there is 24 hour and 90 day, in addition to the previously existing 7 day option.
The company also added a new option to make messages disappear in groups. However, the feature is optional and does not change anything that already exists.
While some WhatsApp features can be misused to support infidelity, there are no features specifically designed for that. Here are some features that can potentially be used for cheating:
1. Disappearing Messages:
Messages that are automatically deleted after a certain duration (24 hours, 7 days, or 90 days) can help hide conversations from your partner.
2. Mute Notifications:
Turning off notifications for certain chats can help hide communication from your partner.
3. Archive Chats:
Storing chats in archives can help hide chats from primary view.
4. Lock with Fingerprint or Face ID:
Locking apps with fingerprint or Face ID can help prevent your partner from accessing chats.
5. Multi-Device:
This feature allows users to use WhatsApp accounts on multiple devices, making it possible to hide chats on one device.
