Suara.com – A little bit further, presidential candidate number 01, Anies Baswedan, could compete with Prabowo Subianto based on the ARCHI survey for the period 26 January – 1 February 2024.
According to Antara, the survey results show that the electability of the presidential and vice presidential candidate Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (AMIN) has increased.
ARCHI Executive Director Mukhradis Hadi Kusuma explained, based on the results of the survey, AMIN candidate pairs experienced an increase from the previous survey of 33.61 percent and are now 37.63 percent.
However, Prabowo-Gibran previously reached 45.9 percent, still at the top even though the electability rate fell. Now it is at 44.85 percent.
“Prabowo-Gibran remains in the lead with 44.85 percent electability, followed by the Anies-Muhaimin pair with 37.63 percent, and Ganjar-Mahfud 15.95 percent,” said Hadi Kusuma in a written statement received by ANTARA in Newsdelivers.com, Monday.
He further explained that the survey was conducted for Indonesian citizens who already have the right to vote, namely 17 years old or married, with a total of 2,400 respondents in 38 provinces throughout Indonesia.
He added that the survey used the Stratified Multistage Random Sampling method with a margin of error of around 2 percent and a confidence level of 95 percent.
The Indonesian General Election Commission (KPU) has appointed three pairs of presidential candidates and vice presidential candidates as participants in the 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential Election (Pilpres), namely the pair Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar serial number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka serial number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md. serial number 3.
The KPU has also set a campaign period from 28 November 2023 to 10 February 2024, then the voting schedule is on 14 February 2024.
