Suara.com – The list of names of Southeast Asian players who are currently pursuing careers in the Belgian League is increasing after Indonesian national team player, Shayne Pattynama, took the same step.
Shayne Pattynama is the latest Southeast Asian player to enter the Belgian League competition scene after officially joining KAS Eupen. The official announcement was made by the club on Friday (2/2/2023) early morning WIB.
Together with KAS Eupen, the player who plays as a left back will receive a 2.5 year contract. This means that Shayne will serve with his new club until June 30 2026.
With this new decision, Shayne Pattynama has the opportunity to rub shoulders with his compatriots who are both strengthening the Indonesian national team in the 2023/2024 Challenger Pro League.

1. Sandy Walsh (KV Mechelen)
Sandy Walsh is the Indonesian national team player who has had the longest career in the Belgian League. The defender who was born in Brussels, Belgium, has played there since the start of his career.
While playing in his homeland, Sandy Walsh has played for several clubs such as KRC Genk, Zulte Waregem, and now serves with KV Mechelen.
2. Marselino Ferdinand (KMSK Deinze)
The decision of the Indonesian national team wonderkid, Marselino Ferdinan, to follow in Sandy Walsh's footsteps is no less interesting.
The young player who is Shin Tae-yong's mainstay decided to leave Persebaya Surabaya on January 31 2023 to pursue a career in the second caste of the Belgian League with KMSK Deinze.
3. Ilhan Fandi
