Talking about young marriages, this interesting story about a young couple's journey towards halal has gone viral on TikTok. She is Novi who uploaded a piece of her husband's journey before marrying him at the age of 20. The story was uploaded in a photo slide that has been viewed more than 24.4 million times on TikTok.
Brilio.net reported from the @novvitsrr account, Wednesday (31/1), Novi and her husband, Bagas. Even when he was still in his teens, Bagas was not proud of selling street food in order to create employment opportunities and find capital to marry his girlfriend, Novi.

Novi revealed that her husband at that time promised to marry her with his own hard earned money. Even though he was only 16 years old when he said that, who would have thought that Bagas would actually make his promise come true.
“Struggling to marry a husband who was only 20 years old. At that time, the husband was only 16 years old. He promised to make it halal using his own sweat,” said Novi.

Bagas is known to have opened a culinary business, namely selling aci bucin meatballs, which he started himself after graduating from school. Several years of running the culinary business, Bagas' aci bucin meatballs went viral and were covered by television stations. One portion of aci meatballs is priced at just IDR 10 thousand.
“After graduating from school, I decided to become a street vendor selling aci meatballs. It immediately went viral from the first year and was always covered on TV,” said Bagas' wife.
