Suara.com – Candidate candidate number 2 Prabowo-Gibran from the results of the Indonesian Survey Circle (LSI) Denny JA survey dominates the DPR RI electoral district (Dapil) West Java 7.
The West Java 7 electoral district consists of Karawang, Bekasi and Purwakarta. In these three areas, Prabowo-Gibran's electability is the highest compared to the other two candidate pairs.
Executive Director of LSI Communication Image Denny JA, Toto Izul Fatah said that from the survey results, Prabowo-Gibran achieved 64.8 percent electability.

This survey from LSI took place from 12 to 22 January 2024. Meanwhile the other two candidate pairs, namely Ganjar-Mahfud, only achieved 7.8 percent, while the pair Anies-Muhaimin earned 19 percent.
According to Toto, from a number of electoral district surveys conducted by LSI Denny JA, the electability of the presidential and vice presidential candidate number 2 is indeed the highest in all of West Java.
Among the factors, he said, could be because the West Java region has long been a vote bank for the Gerindra party and presidential candidate Prabowo has received the highest number of votes since 2019.
“The electability position of candidate pair 02 could be due to conflicting factors between Prabowo's personal strength and the charm of Dedi Mulyadi (a new Gerindra Party cadre). In certain parts, Prabowo contributed to Dedi Mulyadi's electability, and in certain parts Dedi helped boost Prabowo's electability,” he said as quoted from Antara.
The survey, which was conducted in the period 12-22 January 2024, used the standard 'multistage random sampling' method and through face-to-face interviews with a total of 600 respondents and a margin of error of 4.1 percent.
Previously, the presidential candidate number 1, Anies Baswedan, last weekend, Sunday (28/1) attended a grand campaign at Tegallega field, Bandung City.
In the grand campaign which was attended by Jusuf Kalla and the Nasdem chairman, Surya Paloh, the AMIN pair received support from ulama throughout West Java.
One of the ulama, KH Athian Ali, said that there were several considerations that made ulama and figures in West Java decide to support AMIN in the 2024 presidential election.
“We scholars in the West see that the people cannot be left in confusion, deciding whether this country is safe or not,” said Athian Ali.
