Suara.com – National Winning (TPN) spokesperson Ganjar-Mahfud MD, Aiman Witjaksono, is worried about the confiscation of his cell phone by investigators. Aiman conveyed this after being questioned for 12 hours by investigators from the Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya.
Aiman said the police confiscated his cellphone to find out the identity of the source or informant who said that there were individuals who were not neutral in the 2024 elections.
“We were questioned for 12 hours, there were several breaks and I have to say that even though my cellphone ended up having to be confiscated, I am committed not to mention who my source was,” he said when met at Polda Metro Jaya, Friday (26/1) evening.
“Because I believe they are good people whose identities must be protected,” he added.
Aiman explained that investigators had been arguing for two hours regarding the confiscation of his cellphone.
“Because all my data was there (cellphone), even though it was a debate for almost 2 hours, there was a tug-of-war so that the cellphone wouldn't be confiscated. But investigators can take coercive measures from the court which we couldn't, against this,” he said.
During this examination, Aiman was asked 59 questions. This former television journalist has also taken a risk by keeping secret the source who said there were non-neutral elements in the 2024 elections.
“I am Aiman Witjaksono and I am sure my friends at TPN that we will not reveal the sources, let me take this risk because I believe they are good people and they are people whose identities must be protected,” he said.
Previously, the news of the confiscation of Aiman's cellphone also prompted the General Chair of the Perindo Party, Hary Tanoesoedibjo, to visit Polda Metro Jaya to check on his subordinates who were being questioned as witnesses, namely Aiman Witjaksono, regarding fake news or hoaxes.
Hary Tanoe also admitted that he was confused because Aiman was examined for his capacity as a witness but his cell phone (cell phone) was actually confiscated by investigators from the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate (Ditreskrimsus) of Polda Metro Jaya. (Between)
