Suara.com – Deputy Chairman of the Gerindra Party Advisory Board, Hashim Djojohadikusumo, responded to the statement by presidential candidate number 01, Anies Baswedan, who touched on ethics regarding social assistance or social assistance which had Prabowo-Gibran stickers attached to it.
“Yes, people who say that should look in the mirror. Talking about ethics, who talks about ethics, right?” said Hashim Djojohadikusumo in Newsdelivers.com, Saturday (27/1/2024).
According to him, people who talk about ethics must show it by their behavior.
“People who talk about ethics must really behave ethically. I'm sure 01, I think, yes, is not very appropriate,” said Hashim.
Previously, Anies commented on the issue of social assistance with stickers attached to the vice presidential candidate pair number two, Prabowo-Gibran.
“Regarding labeling, this is a matter of ethics, ethics must be maintained,” said Anies in Ternate, North Maluku, Friday (26/1/2024).
Anies reminded that social assistance is not government money. Social assistance, he said, is money from public taxes.
“So this is not funds from the authority holder, this is not someone's money, this is tax money allocated for social assistance,” said Anies.
Therefore, Anies asked all parties to respect the people in social assistance matters.
“Well, I think the Indonesian people are getting smarter day by day, so respect the people's intelligence,” said Anies.
