Suara.com – PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia or Asuransi Jasindo, a member of IFG, continues to be committed to helping develop communities in the regions through Environmental Social Responsibility (TJSL) programs or known as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Throughout 2023, Jasindo has implemented CSR programs in a number of regions through various programs in the fields of education, environment, social, health and development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
“TJSL is Jasindo's commitment to play a role in sustainable development in order to improve the quality of life and a beneficial environment, both for the Company itself, the local community and society in general,” said Brellian Gema, Corporate Secretary of Jasindo Insurance, written on Friday (26/1/2024) .
For example, several CSR programs in the environmental sector include; assistance for renovation of worship facilities in several areas of DKI Newsdelivers.com and East Nusa Tenggara, assistance for public facilities and infrastructure in several residential areas of DKI Newsdelivers.com and East Java, as well as assistance for clean water facilities in Aikprapa Village – East Nusa Tenggara.
In the field of education includes; educational financial assistance provided to students from underprivileged families in the DKI Newsdelivers.com and East Nusa Tenggara areas, assistance for school facilities and infrastructure in the North Sumatra and West Java areas, as well as renovation and school equipment assistance in several areas of West Java and East Nusa Tenggara .
In the field of MSME development, this includes: training and mentoring programs provided to more than 500 MSMEs throughout Indonesia as well as equipment/machinery assistance and business infrastructure in the Jambi, Central Java, Bali, Banten and South Sulawesi regions.
Apart from that, Jasindo Insurance is also implementing the 2023 Homecoming with BUMN program which is sending 300 homecoming travelers to several areas of Java and Lampung, as well as providing more than 3,000 free basic food packages in the areas of Bali, West Java, DKI Newsdelivers.com and West Nusa Tenggara.
“Meanwhile, for the MSME Funding Program, we distribute it through a collaboration mechanism with BRI,” he said.
In 2024, Asuransi Jasindo will increase its CSR budget allocation by around 100% of the previous year's budget. This is in line with the increasing number of programs.
Brellian added, all activities actualized by Asuransi Jasindo aim to contribute to improving community welfare and preserving the environment as well as building harmonious relationships between the Government, Companies and Society.
