Suara.com – PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) recorded an increase in vehicle retail sales of up to 25 percent for the passenger segment and 26 percent in the commercial segment.
From this increase in sales, the passenger category was dominated by XL7 which managed to achieve an increase in sales of up to 32 percent compared to the previous month.
Randy R. Murdoko, Asst. to Dept. Head of 4W Sales PT SIS, revealed that the increase in sales in December was influenced by the public’s need for vehicles to prepare for the year-end holidays and the trust of loyal Suzuki customers.
“At the end of 2023, Suzuki managed to achieve an increase in retail sales of up to 25 percent compared to the previous month. “XL7 is a prima donna that continues to show its existence as a mainstay model for Indonesian families when vacationing together,” said Randy, in his statement, Friday (19/1/2024).
Apart from the passenger segment, Suzuki’s commercial vehicles also showed positive results as seen from an increase in retail sales of 26 percent for New Carry compared to the previous month.
As a vehicle that is often used to support business activities, New Carry has succeeded in becoming a powerful commercial vehicle with costs that tend to reduce business operational expenses.
The main advantages which are certainly beneficial for business people are the efficient use of fuel and having a tough body to cover various terrains.
“We are grateful for the trust and good reception from our loyal customers towards the electrification technology that Suzuki is bringing to the Indonesian market, especially with the success of closing 2023 with positive achievements,” concluded Randy.
