Suara.com – A number of people who are members of the Kampung Bayam residents’ association visited the location of the “Desak Anies” event, in Hallf Patiunus, South Newsdelivers.com, Thursday, January 18 2024.
Their arrival was to meet presidential candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan.
One of the men known as Muhammad Furqon confided in Anies about the lack of certainty about where to live for the residents of Kampung Bayam. He said that currently the residents of Kampung Bayam are being criminalized.
“We are being criminalized now, Dad, imagine for 1 year and 2 months there we have to look after children’s health,” said Furqon, who is the Chair of the Kampung Bayam Farmers Group.
Furqon said that during his five years in office Anies had been consistent and trustworthy in fighting for people’s rights.
“Abah who is truly consistent and truly trustworthy to the people, to the common people, the poor, urban farmers who are never paid attention to by the government,” he said.
He said that during Anies’ leadership period in Newsdelivers.com, the residents of Kampung Bayam felt humanized. This is very different from the current situation.
“Abah still remembers his loving embrace towards us, we were humanized,” he said
At that time, he said, the residents of Kampung Bayam were given training by the DKI Newsdelivers.com Food Security, Maritime and Agricultural Service (KPKP). So that the residents of Kampung Bayam, who initially thought that only farmers supported their families and children, changed their lives.
“Back then, our lives were progressing, imagine. Those of my father’s followers in the regional government whose names were Bang Sami, Mas Chozin, Uda Jon gave us five million in capital, not JakPro who gave us the capital. So the women could trade in the canteen,” he explained.
He believes that this must continue even though Anies Baswedan is no longer serving as Governor of DKI Newsdelivers.com.
“Abah Anies is not making a promise but carrying out his service as a leader. Please us, the House of Representatives asks that Mr Anies continue his service as governor, his service to the people. Please listen to the House of Representatives,” he stressed.
