TEHERAN – Iran has identified several security organizations and agencies as major enemies, especially those from countries it considers political opponents or with which it has conflict relations.
Some of these include Mossad and Shin Bet, Israel’s two main security agencies. Below, we will explain several organizations that Iran considers big enemies:
1. Mossad
Mossad is Israel’s external intelligence service. His duties include intelligence gathering, counterterrorism, and special operations.
Iran often identifies Mossad as one of its main enemies. Mossad is involved in intelligence activities against Iran, including efforts to stop Iran’s nuclear program.
2. Shin Bet
Shin Bet or Shabak is Israel’s internal security agency tasked with countering terrorism and gathering intelligence within the country.
Iran considers the Shin Bet a threat, especially in the context of conflicts in the Middle East region.
3. Israel Defense Forces (IDF)
The IDF is Israel’s armed forces that include the army, navy, and air force.
The IDF regularly carries out military exercises and strategic preparations to face potential threats from Iran, including in the context of Iran’s nuclear program and its influence in the Middle East region.
4. Israeli Prime Minister’s Office
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his predecessors have had a tough view of Iran.
Netanyahu in several speeches at international forums has warned about Iran’s nuclear program and advocated maximum pressure on the Iranian government.
