After spending 18 years playing for the capital club, De Rossi returned to AS Roma as head coach with his first match in Serie A, namely against Verona at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday (21/1).

De Rossi himself was born in Rome and studied at the AS Roma academy, he broke through and played for the first team in 2001 before becoming one of the best midfielders in the world.
De Rossi expressed his gratitude to the club officials who trusted him to coach his childhood club.
