Suara.com – Samsung is ready to hold Galaxy Unpacked which is allegedly the event for the official launch of the Galaxy S24 line on January 17.
However, Samsung is making the necessary preparations and may have started shipping units to third-party retailers.
Interestingly, one such retailer apparently hasn’t gotten the memo about its launch date and has already started selling it.
Reporting from the Phonearena page, Monday (15/1/2024), as first discovered by famous leaker Roland Quandt, Mexican retailer Doto has started selling the Galaxy S24.
He has listed the Galaxy S24 128GB for 16,499 pesos (Rp. 15.2 million) and the 256GB model for 17,999 pesos (Rp. 16.59 million).
This price is the same as its predecessor, the Galaxy S23.

However, from Suara.com’s monitoring, the post has been deleted by the account owner.
This could be a replacement price and it is also unknown if the retailer is actually selling the device or simply making the listing go live prematurely.
He warned that stock was limited (only 10 Galaxy S24 128 GB units and 4 Galaxy S24 256 GB units).
However, doing this could jeopardize its relationship with Samsung.
Samsung is fed up with leakers posting marketing images prematurely and appears to have issued takedown notices to several prominent leakers.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will reportedly be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in all regions but the Galaxy S24 Plus and S24 coming to Europe may feature the Exynos 2400 chip.
The most prominent changes rumored include a flat screen and a new 50MP telephoto camera for the Ultra, larger batteries for the base and Plus models.
Additionally, many AI-based features for the new phones, and a new update policy that will guarantee seven years of software update operation.
