JAKARTA – Apple will release the Apple Vision Pro headset on January 19 2024. It’s just that using a virtual reality headset or Virtual Reality (VR) requires a special tutorial.
Apple Insider, Monday (15/1/2024) reported that buyers of headsets made by Apple must first take 25 minutes of training. “Apple has trained some of their workers so that when they return to their respective places they can provide the same training to other salespeople,” said Bloomberg technology analyst Mark Gurmann.
Apple is preparing dozens of Apple Vision Pros that can be used to train consumers who are interested in buying. It’s just that the training procedure is quite complicated and takes almost 30 minutes.
Before conducting training, prospective buyers must first perform a facial scan. Later this face will become Face ID which will be needed to use Apple Vision Pro.
Especially for prospective buyers who use glasses, the procedure is even longer. Apart from scanning the face, they also have to record the glasses used. After everything is finished, the training does not immediately try the various applications available. The headset is first adjusted to the shape of the head so that the strap and mount for the Apple Vision Pro are very comfortable for the user.
After that, potential buyers learn to use various applications on the Apple Vision Pro. They also learned how eye blinks and body movements are the main controls of the device.
After being able to master it, then Apple Vision Pro users are taught how to make the VR device a replacement for Mac and iPad. “The processing time will take 20-25 minutes,” wrote Apple Insider.
Apple really doesn’t want to play around when it comes to selling the Apple Vision Pro. They want VR device users not to be confused when buying the device. Moreover, the price is also very fantastic, namely reaching 3,499 US dollars or the equivalent of Rp. 53.9 million.
