Suara.com – Presidential candidate number 2, Prabowo Subianto, has carried out a series of political safaris in 10 provinces on the island of Sumatra in the last two months. Apart from attending several agendas to declare support for him, Prabowo also took the time to interact directly with the people of Sumatra.
The ten provinces Prabowo visited were Aceh, North Sumatra; West Sumatra; Riau, Riau Islands; Jambi, Bengkulu, South Sumatra; Bangka Belitung; and Lampung.
Prabowo’s presence in these cities was greeted enthusiastically by tens of thousands of local residents. They did not waste the opportunity to meet Prabowo in person, and continued to try to take selfies and shake hands with the figure they admired.
The accompaniment of prayers and shouts of ‘Prabowo is president’ also echoed in every location, adding to the liveliness of Prabowo’s meeting with his supporters.
Prabowo started his political safari on the island of Sumatra by visiting the city of Padang, West Sumatra on December 9 2023. Then he visited the Veranda of Mecca, Aceh on December 26 2023.
Meanwhile, in the last week, Prabowo met with people in three cities in one day, namely Pekanbaru, Riau; Jambi, Jambi Province; as well as the city of Palembang, South Sumatra Province; on January 9, 2024.
Two days later, political safaris were carried out in 3 other big cities in 3 different provinces, such as in the city of Bengkulu, Bengkulu Province; Lampung City, Lampung Province; and the city of Bangka Belitung, Bangka Belitung Province on January 11 2024
Prabowo then continued the meeting with the community and his supporters by stopping in two other cities, namely Batam, Riau Islands; and Medan, West Sumatra Province on Saturday (13/1/2024).
Prabowo never stopped expressing his thanks and expressed his appreciation for his supporters who have been loyal to him all this time. He said that community support was like additional energy.
“Respected brothers and sisters, all the Prabowo-Gibran volunteers that I love, thank you for the warm, sincere and enthusiastic welcome given to me and my group. Once again, every time, I meet the community, every “When I come into contact with the people, I get new energy, I get new energy, I feel younger,” said Prabowo during a visit to Medan, Saturday (13/1/2024).
In every city he visits, Prabowo always conveys his vision and mission if he is later elected in the 2024 presidential election. Starting from the free lunch and milk program for Indonesian children, to his commitment to continuing President Joko Widodo’s (Jokowi) policies which are pro-people. as well as national interests, one of which is downstreaming.
“Our wealth is still not fully enjoyed by the Indonesian people. Therefore, Pak Jokowi’s struggle must continue. He has a downstream strategy. “Downstreaming means that our natural wealth must be processed into products whose value increases so that our people can prosper, so that this wealth can be enjoyed by all Indonesian people,” said Prabowo in Jambi, Tuesday (9/1/2024).
He emphasized that every struggle he and his team are currently carrying out is solely to fight for and defend the interests of the Indonesian people.
“Even though I was ridiculed, slandered, blasphemed, I only wanted to fight to defend the Indonesian people,” he stressed at the ‘Consolidation of Prabowo-Gibran Volunteers for Bengkulu Province’ event, Thursday (11/1/2024).
